So far I have written three novels, all a mixture of romance, drama and laughter. They have been set in fictitious towns and villages that I have located in some of my favourite destinations in the UK - the Scottish Highlands, the Lake District and North Yorkshire.
Below you can discover more about each novel and, if you fancy, read the first chapter of each one of them...I hope you enjoy them!
- Everything you've ever wished for?
- The love programme

Everything You’ve Ever
Wished For?
Praise for this book from the Romantic Novelists Association New Writers Scheme: "I warmed to Lizzie immediately, as quickly as I wanted to kick her boyfriend for his arrogance! How like a bloody man, I thought! So - how well drawn the characters!"
Lizzie is shocked to learn that she has inherited a seen-better-days farmhouse and smallholding in the wilds of Cumbria. Her old Uncle Joe has specified that he wants her to run the farm for a year before, if it doesn’t work out, selling the place.
- What is she to do? Her life is in London - great job, great boyfriend, great flat.
Now she has to decide - - Should she go against her uncle’s wishes and just sell the farm without even trying? Could she bring herself to do that?
- Could she even make it as a farmer anyway?
- Does she see her future in a busy city or in the middle of nowhere?

The Love Programme
Winner of Carole Matthews Romantic Reads competiton
Praise from Carole Matthews: " Thanks so much for letting me read the start of The Love Programme, I think it's a great concept. The set up of your novel is lovely and I do like your writing style."
Thanks to an embarrassing incident Lucy has to leave her home town in a hurry and needs a place to escape to for a while.
Best friend Fiona is convinced now would be a good time for Lucy to get herself a new life with some potential for romance thrown in. Fate seems to agree when Lucy is given the once-in-a-lifetime chance to star in a TV show and be a contestant on The Love Programme - two weeks of luxury living on a grand Highland estate coupled with, she hopes, fun and romance in wildest Scotland. But before any romance can even start she has to take the Love Questionnaire and the Love Programme psychologist Zelda is intrigued by Lucy’s complicated love life and her knack for getting involved with the wrong men.
Then Lucy meets Paul, the young, handsome owner of the Highland estate- she thinks he’s great but then so, it seems, does every other woman he meets. Is Lucy about to make the same mistakes again or has she finally found her Mr Right?
